GRUNGE WON AN AWARD

As some of you know, Grunge participated in the Melbourne Queer Games Festival. I was honestly just happy to be apart of the festival, and so honored when they asked me to submit.

Then I woke up this morning, and realized that Grunge won the Silver Medal (2nd) place at the festival.

It is an honor and a privilege to be receiving this award. I was just happy to be apart of the festival and I had no idea that Grunge would even be considered for an award.

Thank you to all those who have downloaded this game, left a review, and reported bugs. Grunge is my first game made without any prior coding experience, and there were some days where programming was so difficult, I felt like giving up. To see the reaction from the community is a wondrous thing, and your enjoyment of the game makes it all the more worth it.

Thank you to those who helped in the making of this game: Christian Castro Romero, Robin Harper, Chien Nguyen, and Sabrina Doeden. All of them playtested and reported bugs, and helped me fix the most broken parts in the game and improve user experience. Christian also served as the translation consultant for this game, and helped me rework my awkward Spanish sentences. This game would not be possible without their help.

This award isn't just for me, it's for all of us.

I highly encourage you to check out the works of the other award winners if you haven't already!
